This is a historic video of one more crucial victory of ayahuasca in Spain. This Tuesday, January 13, 2026, this citizen went to the very heart of the <\/a>National Institute of Toxicology (INT) in Madrid to collect his ayahuasca. It is the first time in Spain that this body has been ordered to deliver it, as on other occasions it had been to pharmacy or customs institutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I explain in the following article, this shows the ignorance and viciousness with which the head of this institute in Madrid made false accusations with the purpose of putting innocent people in jail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This lady is called Maria Antonia Martinez Gonzalez and her intervention in which she provided deliberately false information and without evidence was certainly quite poisonous for a supposed expert in \u00abtoxics\u00bb. From the information that has reached me it seems that this is not the first time that this lady has provided false information with which she discredits herself and that is why she should be investigated and dismissed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prosecutor used her false information to appeal the acquittal sentence of the Provincial Court of Madrid, which was later confirmed as valid by the High Court of Justice, which confronted the lies and attacks of this lady with these words:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abThe Public Prosecutor's Office invokes the opinion given in the plenary session by the expert of the National Institute of Toxicology, which concludes that this substance is controlled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This approach cannot be categorically followed. Without questioning the qualifications of the National Institute of Toxicology, and the solvency of its reports, it is not its responsibility to establish which substances are controlled, a legal consideration, since its competences as a technical body are to assist the Administration of Justice and contribute to the unity of scientific criteria, the quality of analytical expertise and the development of forensic sciences, by issuing reports and opinions, and the practice of analysis and toxicological investigations commissioned, through research processes\u00bb.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, in the same sentence she is confronted for inventing supposed official reports that say which quantities of ayahuasca can be considered for self-consumption and which for distribution or \u00abtrafficking\u00bb when there are no such reports and it is as legal in Spain to consume ayahuasca as it is to facilitate or sell it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The confrontation also hits the Spanish Agency of Medicines that in a report of one of its officials named Lidia Fernandez Matellanos falsely claimed that ayahuasca was not legal in Spain. In this report she also falsely stated that it is toxic without providing any scientific evidence other than that of her prejudice and denying the studies of Dr. Jordi Riba at the Hospital de Sant Pau in Barcelona which showed that ayahuasca is not toxic, is cardiovascular safe and does not produce addiction by not activating the reward circuits of the brain in addition to having a huge therapeutic potential for a multitude of mental health conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this sentence, the lies of Antonia and Lidia, high officials of official bodies such as INT and the AEMPS, who falsely claimed that ayahuasca is illegal, have been exposed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is very important given that the persecution of ayahuasca by the anti-sect police section between 2022 and 2024 was based on the false report of the Spanish Medicines Agency which said that ayahuasca was illegal because it contained Dmt when the international conventions of the INCB, to which Spain is attached, make it clear that only synthetic DMT is illegal and not natural DMT, which is found in ayahuasca. to which Spain is a member make it clear that only synthetic DMT is illegal and not the natural DMT found in ayahuasca, as confirmed by Spanish jurisprudence, which is unanimous and in which there is not a single conviction in fifty cases, all of which have been archived or acquitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sentence of the Provincial Court of Madrid declaring the accused citizen innocent was confirmed by the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid and later the Court was asked to return the ayahuasca, which it accepted and decreed that it be returned to the person from whom it was taken, which you see here in the video the day she happily went to pick it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
